L’Artisan des Mélanges, a Parisian boutique established in 2018, specializes in premium, sustainably sourced coffee and tea. To extend their reach, they sought to develop an e-commerce platform that reflects their commitment to quality and tradition, appealing to both local and global audiences. The project involved comprehensive user and market research to design an intuitive and authentic online shopping experience.
Problem Statement
Coffees & Teas connoisseurs who have a strong appreciation for Parisian culture need to find a way to feel apart of the Parisian culture and ensure to consume qualitative, tasty and sustainably sourced coffees & teas because they experiment frustrations to combine their passion for coffees & teas with their environmental beliefs on a daily basis.
Solution
To resolve the problem this coffee & tea boutique faced I designed an e-commerce website that puts forward and promotes fair-trade, quality sourced, eco-responsible products to ensure our clients they buy from the utmost trustful Coffee & Tea Boutique while making sure to keep an elevated feel of throughout the navigation.
Understanding our Users
Individuals who appreciate gourmet products, prioritize sustainability, and have a deep appreciation for Parisian culture and lifestyle of fine beverages. Customers are usually aged 25-50 and are urban professionals.
Increasing Consumer Awareness of Coffee Origins and Ethics
Consumers seek transparency and ethical sourcing, willing to pay more for responsible brands.
Environmental and Ethical Concerns
There’s a gap between demand and supply of organic coffee, pushing consumers towards sustainable brands.

Coffee is culturally significant, and consumers increasingly demand ethical sourcing and transparency.

With the new narrowed challenge, I led multiple rounds of Crazy 8s to ideate innovative ideas to bring unique MVP Features. Through the ideation, we got many ideas. and assessing ideas for efficient impact. In order to have the design solution that have the most impact with less efforts, we voted to based on the criterias from the interview research findings.
